این قطعه سنسور لرزش بسیار حساس SW-520 است که از زوایه‌های 45 درجه، 90 درجه و دیگر زاویه‌ها پشتیانی می‌کند. این ویژگی‌ باعث شده این محصول از محبوبیت زیادی در بین کاربران برخوردار باشد. از این سنسور در سیستم های ضد سرقت در اتومبیل ها نیز استفاده می شود. عملکرد این سنسور بدین شکل است که با تغییر زاویه قرارگیری سنسور دو گوی درون استوانه که به شکل ساچمه هستند حرکت کرده و بین پایه های سنسور اتصال برقرار می کنند. در این حالت جریان وصل می شود و سنسور خروجی
می دهد.
به صورت کلی در مواردی که نیاز به سوییچ هنگام تغییر زاویه ضروری است، این سنسور
می تواند گزینه مناسبی باشد. در حال حاضر این سنسور ها با "عملکرد حرکت گوی در استوانه" جایگزین مدل های قبلی جیوه ای شده اند که به علت سمی بودن عنصر استفاده شده در آن ها تولید آن ها متوقف شده است.

Description:
Tilt sensors are essential components in security alarm systems today. Standalone tilt sensors sense tilt angle or movement.
They allow you to detect orientation or inclination. They are small, inexpensive, low-power and easy-to-use. Tilt sensors can be implemented using mercury and rollerball technology and can be mounted using mechanical threading, magnets, or adhesives, depending on what type of surface they are being mounted to.
Tilt switches used to be made exclusively of mercury, but are rarer now since they are recognized as being extremely toxic. The benefit of mercury is that the blob is dense enough that it does not bounce and so the switch is not susceptible to vibrations. On the other hand, ball-type sensors are easy to make, won't shatter, and pose no risk of pollution.
Recent technological advancements in the manufacturing of tilt sensors have improved accuracy, reduced cost, and increased lifetime. When the tilt sensor is oriented so that the end is downwards, the mass rolls onto the poles and shorts them, acting as a switch stroke.
