ماژول کاهنده HLK-5M12 یک منبع تغذیه است که ولتاژ 220 ولت برق متناوب را به ولتاژ 12 ولت ثابت تبدیل می کند. این ماژول دارای ویژگی های مانند وزن کم، کوچک بودن ماژول، توان و بازدهی بالا، توان مصرفی پایین، افت توان بسیار کم، حفاظت در برابر جریان بالا و اتصال کوتاه جریان، کم بودن ریپل خروجی است و به علت پایدار بودن ولتاژ خروجی آن در کاربردهای متفاوتی قابل استفاده است.

Description:
AC-DC converters are electrical circuits that transform alternating current (AC) input into direct current (DC) output. They are used in power electronic applications where the power input a 50 Hz or 60 Hz sine-wave AC voltage that requires power conversion for a DC output.
The HLK-5M12 is a small size low-cost AC to DC converter which can take in 110V/220V AC and give 12V 3W output.
The HLK-5M12 is commonly used in places where a microcontroller circuit has to be powered directly from AC mains. Most digital circuits operate at a voltage of 5V, this module can convert the AC voltage with an efficiency of 70%. The module also meets the UL, CE requirements, hence, it can be used in commercial products and should be free from ripple and noise.
However, the module can provide only a maximum of 600mA as continuous current, so if your circuit requires anything more than that then consider the HLK-5M12 module which can source up to 420mA.
The module also has built-in short circuit protection and over current protection. But, still, you might consider adding some external protection circuits based on your Power regulation and application. Commonly a fuse and a MOV are used on the input side to protect the module from voltage and current spikes.
