Brushless dc water pump with a brushless DC motor and coupled with the impeller in its rotor in the housing structure. Due to the water around the rotor, there is no Brush friction, therefore the spark is not generated. The brushless water pump is a typical electromechanical integration product.
There are some differences between Brushless water pump and traditional brushed water pump which come as following:
Due to the motor shaft and the rotor impeller directly connected and shaft seals, therefore the shaft and gasket work in friction status so the brushed water pump life is very short and industrial applications are also limited.
Unlike the traditional structure pump, the motor and the rotor impeller of brushless dc water pumps are completely isolated by a waterproof chamber so the sealing problems are completely solved. Due to the rotating parts with the perfect combination of zirconium oxide and graphite, the mechanical friction is minimized, along with the long life and low noise.
The impeller spins very fast. The curved blades channel water into the eye, or center of the impeller, but that water flows along to the outside of the blades. Because the impeller moves fast, the centrifugal force compresses the water against the outside of the blade. This pressure causes the water to rocket forward in a high-speed jet out of the impeller. This speed creates pressure on the outlet side of the pump, pushing the water through the pipe.
