Description:
This board uses the LTC3588 breakout Of Energy Piezoelectric Linear Technologies harvester. this card can be used not only for piezoelectric energy harvesting, but also solar energy. there is a bridge rectified input for piezo elements (PZ1 and PZ2) and a direct input (VIN) to DC sources. both are set to 20 V. In addition, the plate can simply be used as a standalone Nanopower buck regulator.

a home lock current ultralow undervoltage (UVLO) mode with a wide hysteresis window enables charge to accumulate on an input capacitor until the buck converter can transfer a part of the charge stored efficiently to the exit. in regulation, the LTC3588 enters a sleep state in which both input and output quiescent currents are minimal. the buck converter connects and off as needed to maintain regulation.

four output voltages (1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V and 3.6 V) are selectable pin with up to 100mA output direct current and is preconfigured for a 3.3 V output however, the output capacitor can be scaled to meet a greater burst output current. a set of input shunt protection V 20 allows greater energy storage for a given amount of input capacitance.
